RACING COVID RE-OPENING PLAN 

SunRay Park & Casino horse racing patrons:

Simulcast is NOW OPEN!

The 2021 live racing season has returned!  Racing is every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 2:15 p.m.

COVID-19 safe practices will be in effect throughout the property.  The races are free and open to the public.  Masks are required, social distancing will be in effect, and our third floor will be closed for the season due to current restrictions.

Below are some of our Special event days this season.

​

- First Day of Racing- Friday, April 23rd with Giveaways Throughout the Day!

​

- Kentucky Derby- Saturday, May 1st with Corona Giveaways after each race, our Hat Contest, and the Derby Race.

HAT CONTEST: Sign-ups are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in our StingRay Lounge.  Hat categories are Dapper Dan, Hat-A-Tude, Daily Double, Too Hot To Trot, and A Little Bit of Everything (full details in the red image below).  A winner will be announced for each category after 3 p.m. and will receive a cash prize!  GOOD LUCK!

- Program Raffle Day- Saturday, May 8th with random Program Winners All Day!

- Preakness Day- Saturday, May 15th POST TIME IS AT 1 P.M.

with SunRay Prizes and the Preakness Race.

- Kids Day at the Races- Saturday, May 22nd with our Kids ONLY Giveaways all day and our Kids Race (last race of the day).

- Customer Appreciation Day- Saturday, May 29th Enjoy Select Dollar Food and Drinks and SunRay Prizes.

- Last Day of Racing- Sunday, May 30th Expect Giveaways and Amazing Races!
